Parrot Kingdom guarantees that all our birds are healthy at the time of shipping or picking up.  We give our customers 3 days health guarantee after receiving the bird from your airport or picking up at our place.  To keep this guarantee, you must have your bird examined by a licensed AVIAN vet of your choice within those 3 days. All tests and blood work must be drawn within those 3 days.

During the initial examination, should your veterinarian find this bird to be in poor health or detect any physical health problems that would require further veterinary care, you must notify Parrot Kingdom within 24 hours.

No veterinary fees charged for the initial examination or for any other services will be paid by Parrot Kingdom. We do not consider a slight growth of gram negative bacteria post-shipping to be disease but recognize that this is a stress-related reaction to being shipped.

 We are serious about our babies' health and do everything possible to provide proper nutrition and veterinary supervision to ensure that you will receive the healthiest possible birds.

We are a closed aviary.  We do not bring our babies to any birdmart or birdshow to sell.  We follow strict standard to protect ourself and our customers. We only raise parrot species proved to be pet quality.  That is why we do spend so much time to socialize our birds, let them fly & be confident, balanced pet birds.  

We ship from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL).  We will use Delta or Continentals airlines when weather permitting. 

Total shipping costs are

$160 with Delta

 $190 with Continetal. 

Those prices include airline shipping, tax and crate fees.  All shipping fees must be prepaid before any shipping arrangements made. Rates given are estimated only and are subject to change until the time of shippment.

Special stickers for careful handlings

We make all of the shipping arrangements and use direct flights if possible. We use the best airline for the route, taking into

consideration transit time, weather, and cost factor. We check weather conditions at the receiving end and only ship when we consider it safe to do so. Generally, temperatures should be between 45 and 85 degrees Fahrenheit at the receiving airport. There are some exceptions to this, but many airlines have temperature restrictions and will only

accept shipments when temperatures on the shipping and receiving ends are within this range.

We put our birds' health above all other considerations and do not ship when we feel it could be dangerous to the birds' well-being. We only ship well-weaned babies.

We can ship counter to counter (arrives at the passenger terminal soon after flight arrival) at the customer's request.  We cannot predict airfreight charges in advance- this is paid to the airline at the time the shipment is received/shipped.

The consignee is always notified with the flight number(s), airbill number and arrival time before the shipment is made.

To get the location for pick-up at your airport, please call the airline being used for shipping and ask where the air cargo office or the counter to counter office for that airline is located in your local airport.

Health certificates can be provided at extra charge for states and/or airlines that require this.  It is the responsibility of the purchaser to know and comply with any local laws or regulations regarding the purchase/shipping/possession of a bird. We cannot be held liable for any issues in this regard.

To find out if Continental has "Live Animal Service" to your airport

Ask if there is live animal service from Fort Lauderdale - Hollywood airport, FL to your airport. If not you will have to find another airport that does or I cannot ship a bird to you.

Please call 1-888-736-3738 and ask if they have live animal service to your airport.

Payment Methods can be made by PayPal, personal check,cashiers check and money order.  Personal check can take up to 12 business days to clear after a deposit.

To reserve one of our african greys, we need a $300.00 non-refundable deposit or $600 for two,  a deposit for other species of babies is half of its price.

The balance must be paid before any shipping arrangements made.  We expect to receive the full payment when the bird almost weaned so we can ship the baby to you wihout delay.

Your baby is available for visiting by appointment and on Weekends only ( between 11 AM to 4 P.M ).  Please let us know at least 3 days in advance.

  Please limit two visits per month & 2 hours at a time.

Please do not visit any pet shops or handling other birds before coming here.  We want to protect our birds & your baby as well.

We do not let anyone to see our breeding pairs.  They need privacy &

comfortable.  We do not want to upset them.

Please set up your cage, playgym, toys & food in advance

If you pick your bird from an airport, then bring it home right away.  Shipping is stressful for your birds and your bird need time to know you, your family and whole new environment

I recommend let your bird go to its cage by itself.  You can handfeed it with apple, peanut...  if she is nervous, then leave her in her cage for a couple hours to rest and observe your place.

In my experience, the slower you take, the more comfortable your bird feels. Most of my customers say the bird bond to them very quickly.

We understand that buying a bird online is a scary experience not only financially but emotionlly as well.  You send a lot of money for a perfect stranger. Therefore, we give you as much information about us as we can.
